In Kurulus Osman Episode 122, Osman protected his city from the Mongols and took charge of the prisoners. Military personnel informed Osman that Aktemur had become the new Bey, prompting him to summon a gathering of all concerned individuals. Meanwhile, Nayman instructed his troops to discreetly move into the woods. In the midst of this, Malhun and Aisha cautioned Aktemur yet again. Despite their warnings, Aktemur remained steadfast in his choice and headed towards Osman’s scheduled assembly. The Vizier apprehended Bala and declared her sentence of execution.
However, when the Sultan began questioning her, Ismihan arrived and revealed the Vizier’s betrayal. The treacherous Vizier had plotted with Mongolian soldiers to attack and kill the Sultan. Upon learning of this plot, the Sultan promptly ordered the Vizier’s execution and resumed his conversation with Bala. Osman showed concern for the well-being of the city’s people and pledged to provide assistance. He disagreed with Aktemur’s decision and subsequently dismissed him from the meeting.
The Beys were instructed by Osman on defending the cities. Sultan wrote a letter to Gazan upon Bala’s request. Turgut conversed with Talay after apprehending Bayindir. Bengi urged Aktemur to take revenge for Oktem and attack Marmaracik. While Talay doubted Turgut’s words, the commander of Gazan arrived and seized Genghis’ seal. After discussing with a merchant, Osman dined with him. Osman went to the mosque to pray that night and later conversed with his children.
Malhun was secretly met by Aktemur in the forest. According to Aktemur, Osman was fully aware and ready to launch an assault on the castle. Upon consuming the poison concocted by the shaman, Nayman proceeded to the battleground. Following some motivational words to his troops, Osman handpicked three individuals for combat. After three Turkish and Mongolian soldiers engaged in thrilling duels, Osman eventually joined the fray and squared off against Nayman. In an attempt to gain an advantage, Nayman utilized the poison hidden inside his ring to impair Osman’s vision in one eye.
