Dirilis Ertugrul Season 1 Overview
In Dirilis Ertugrul Season 1, In 1225, famine and drought began in Kayi plain. Gundugdu Bey, Suleyman Shah’s son, proposed to emigrate to Aleppo and this proposal was accepted. Ertugrul Bey, who went hunting with the Alps, saved an innocent Muslim family from the Crusade Soldiers and brought them to the plain. Kara Toygar, the Seljuk commander in the region, wants this family from the Kayis. Suleyman Shah refuses and sends his son Ertugrul to Aleppo. Ertugrul Bey and his Alps arrive in Aleppo and Ertugrul Bey is determined to get what he wants from the palace. Meanwhile, Halime and her family are under attack. Suleyman Shah tries to find out who made this attack. Gundugdu Bey harms his relationship with his father because of his anger and ambition.

A woman sent by the Knights Templar was caught when she was about to poison the food. Suleyman Shah learns the truth about the family. Suleyman Shah takes the Alps and prepares to go to Aleppo. Ertugrul escapes from prison. Meanwhile, Turgut Bey cooperates with a Christian woman in order to escape from captivity. Ertugrul Bey, together with Atabey, returned to his plain. Suleyman Shah receives an order from Aleppo and this order tells Kayi to leave their place. Ertugrul Bey plans to go to Aleppo again and this time he will take the Christian concubine he has taken with him. Al Aziz wants to marry Halime. On the way to Aleppo, Ertugrul Bey and Gundogdu Bey attack the Knights Templar. Kurtoglu is making secret plans to kill Suleymah Shah. Halime agrees to marry Al Aziz on one condition and the condition is his brother has to return. Al Aziz keeps his word and brings Shehzade Yigit back.

Receiving this news, Al Aziz decides to go to the Kayi plain. Meanwhile, Ertugrul Bey’s Alps came and rescued him. The Knights Templar orders Kurtoglu to attack the Orthodox people. Ertugrul Bey saves Ibn Arabi’s life.

A war begins between the knights and the Alps and the Knights take Turgut back. Ertugrul Bey returns to the plain in a wounded condition and everyone learns that Turgut is a traitor. Kurtoglu sends a man to kill Ertugrul, but this plan fails. Gokce puts her own life in danger and saves Ertugrul. The Christian woman from the castle tells Suleyman Shah the truth about Turgut.
In Dirilis Ertugrul Season 1, The Cardinal plans to take back Jerusalem. In the meantime, Ertugrul Bey says that he suspects Kurtoglu in Toy, but Gundogdu says his uncle is innocent. Gundogdu Bey brought Turgut back to the plain and Ertugrul goes to talk to him. With the economic strengthening of Gundogdu, the other Beys began to support him. Tension begins between Ertugrul and Gundogdu. Suleyman Shah retires from his position and builds a Toy to select the new leader. Kurtoglu nominates Gundogdu as the new Bey, but Gundogdu rejects it. Thereupon Kurtoglu becomes a candidate. In the voting, Suleyman Shah is re-elected as Bey. Gundogdu is poisoned. Halime and Ertugrul Bey will be married.

There is turmoil in plain and Kurtoglu announces himself as the new Bey. Gundogdu Bey meets Kurtoglu and confronts him. Suleyman Shah calms everyone and sends everyone to their tents. Meanwhile, Ertugrul Bey fights with the knights, but this is a trap. Ertugrul Bey and his Alps escape from this trap at the last minute. Kurtoglu commissioned Turgut Alp to kill Suleyman Shah and his family. Kurtoglu sets up a Toy and asks Suleyman Shah and his sons about the death sentence. But the other Beys want the decision of exile instead of the death decision. Ertugrul surrenders to save the Alps. A man of Ibn Arabi sets a trap in the forest and saves Ertugrul and the Alps. Kurtoglu takes Halime captive to control Ertugrul and exiles Suleyman Shah.
In Dirilis Ertugrul Season 1, When Turgut Alp is about to kill Suleyman Shah, he comes to himself and shreds his chains. But the knights come to the scene and surround them. Ertugrul Bey and the Alps come to help and everyone is safe and sound. Turgut Alp pretends to have fulfilled his duty and goes back to Kurtoglu. Ertugrul Bey tells Kurtoglu that he wants to join Toy and he accepts it. Ertugrul Bey claims that Kurtoglu cooperated with Kara Toygar and the Knights Templar in Toy and called Turgut Alp as a witness. Kurtoglu does not accept these accusations and orders his Alps to arrest Ertugrul. Turgut Alp and Ertugrul capture Kurtoglu after a fight in the tent. Suleyman Shah and his family return to plain. Kurtoglu gets a death penalty. Cardinal is planning to take Shehzade Yigit to Constantinople. Selcan Hatun confesses all her mistakes in front of everyone. Ertugrul Bey tells his father about his plan to attack the castle of the Knights Templar. Turgut Alp and Aykiz get married.
In Dirilis Ertugrul Season 1, Suleyman Shah and his Alps are now on their way to war. A student of Ibn Arabi will support them from inside the castle. The Kayis are now shoulder to shoulder for this war, and they have become a whole. There is a tough battle in the castle. Ertugrul and the Alps approach Titus step by step. Shehzade Yigit returns to his sister Halime and tells them that the Kayis had won the battle. Kayis investigate the castle and learns about the preparations for the future Christian-Muslim war. The white beards decided to gather the Oghuz beys in preparation for the Mongols to come to Anatolia. Titus manages to sneak out of the castle. Selcan Hatun tells her husband Gundogdu that she is pregnant, but Gundogdu does not believe her. Ertugrul and Halime get married. Gundogdu Bey goes out to look for his wife. In the meantime, Titus tries to kill Gundogdu, but Selcan Hatun puts her own life in danger and saves her husband.
In Dirilis Ertugrul Season 1, Season finale. Suleyman Shah and his sons meet with other Oghuz Beys. Meanwhile, Ertugrul learns where Titus is and sets out to capture him. After a long struggle, Ertugrul Bey captures Titus and Gundogdu Bey separates his head from his body. On his way back, Suleyman Shah gets sick and falls into the river. Ertugrul Bey and Gundogdu Bey have nothing to do. Suleyman Shah dies. Then Kayis makes a Toy and talks about the Mongolian danger. Under the leadership of Mother Hayme, a decision was made to fight the Mongols and they set out together.
