In Alparslan Buyuk Selcuklu Episode 48, With the document in his possession, Alparslan entered the palace and requested his brother to relinquish the throne. The vizier discerned that the situation was deteriorating and implored Alparslan to depart from the palace without delay. The marauders formulated a strategy to demand gold from Alparslan. Alparslan made arrangements to reclaim Merv and dispatched Toygar in advance. Upon discovering that all routes were blocked, Kutalmis desired to go back to Merv. Atsiz taught Alparslan everything he needed to know. The vizier demanded that Alparslan should be put to death in the palace courtyard, but Aybars opposed this and suggested exiling him instead. The vizier instructed Leon to murder Seferiye. Later, when Alparslan departed from the palace, bandits attacked him. Suleiman visited Vaspurakan to have a meal with the Lord and assumed that Alparslan would be ambushed by spies on his way.
However, Alparslan defeated the robbers and later rescued his own family. Despite Leon’s attack on the Turks, he couldn’t succeed. Alparslan entered Vaspurakan in secret and waited there for his troops to open the city gates. Leon managed to flee from the Turkish soldiers and apprehended Alparslan in the city.
