Akca offered a deal to Rati. She demanded Rati to let the Turkish women go and in exchange she would go to the palace with him.
Alparslan struggled to escape from the castle by trapping the soldiers in the lockup, but unfortunately he could only protect one of his companions. Alparslan then checked into the headquarters and rescued Akca. Alparslan said he needed to arrive back to the palace to rescue his friends, but Yinal told him there was another way. Yinal told him that Dukas is still alive and Evdokya is with him. Just as Kekaumenos was about to meet with the soldiers in the palace, Diogenes halted him.
Rati said they needed to murder Emperor now. When Ivan was just about to mascraed Kekaumenos, an inspector arrived in the palace. Diogenes cooled down both the emperor and Rati. Caghri forced Karaca to leave the castle. Suleiman struggled to negotiate withAlparslan but was not successful in convincing him. Alparslan arrived at the exchange location and took Dukas out of the cart. Dukas instructed Diogenes’ seize and released the soldiers. Akca told Alparslan that she kept a secret from him that Hassan was her father.
